Knighthawk Games is Dave Simpson and Matthias Bonnici, a team that creates, designs and develops  role-playing, board, and card games. Our first two games Dragon Chess and Rampaging Jotunn are developed to the point where we are currently reviewing our options to produce them and get them on store shelves everywhere.  Currently they are developing four new games.

David Simpson is the Lead Designer of Dragon Chess and Co-Creator of Rampaging Jotunn. Dave is the head of Knighthawk games and is developing two new games.

Dave has had a love for games of all types as long as he can remember.  He would come across a game and see ways to make the mechanics work smoother or to increase the level of enjoyment by tweaking this and that. He knew what he wanted to play and what mechanics he’d like to see.

In 2006 he established Knighthawk games and started creating his own games.

In 2011, Dave started a youtube channel of board game reviews, play introduction and miniatures modeling videos called Gamers On Games. With over 100 episodes filmed, he has covered a wide variety of topics, board games and miniature modeling techniques.

Matthias Bonnici is the Lead Designer of Rampaging Jotunn and Co-Creator of Dragon Chess. Matthias is a Partner in Knighthawk Games, but he is also the Creative Director, Art Director, Graphic Designer, Product Designer, and is currently developing two new games.

Matthias is an award winning Graphic Designer, Author & publisher based in New York.  In January 2011 Matthias started working with Dave on the Monster Cards and Tokens.  After those designs were finished, he never left and since has created the Graphic Materials for all games, promotions and even this website.
